Isolation of (4,4,6a,6b,8a,l 1,12,14b-Octamethyl-2,3,4a,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,12a,14,14a- tetradecahydro-lH-picen-3-yl)acetate from leaves of ficus arnottiana using circularly spread silica gel. The main objective of the present invention is to isolate amyrine acetate in leaves of ficus arnottiana for the first time by using circularly spread silica gel and ultrasonication at ambient temperature.
