A method is implemented by a radio node in a wireless communication network (10). The method includes determining (105) one o r more environmental conditions under which a measurement has been is being or will be performed by the radio node. The method also includes performing (110) the measurement. The method further includes accounting (115) for an effect of the one or more environmental conditions on the measurement when at least one of configuring the measurement to be performed and selectively using a result of the measurement to perform a radio operational task.
