METHOD OF ADJUSTING NUMBER OF SEATS IN AN AIRCRAFT BETWEEN TWO COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS

An embodiment of a method of reducing the load of an aircraft is presented. The method includes a modular cabin configuration. The modular cabin configuration comprises foldable seat modules. A number of seat modules on a first flight is compared with a calculated passenger loading factor (PLF) on a second flight and the number of seat modules is adjusted to accommodate the calculated PLF on the second flight. The number of seat modules is adapted in accordance with a calculated load distribution.
