The present invention relates to the terrarium with in situ sculptured micro-landscape for growing and exhibiting plants and the like. The Micro-landscaping in terrarium involves in situ moulding, carving, sculpturing the polyurethane (PU) foam into artificial mountains, valleys, overhangs, plateaus, idol-pedestals. Further, the invention involves growing different species of mosses as ground cover over these structures. The invention further involves fixing statues of gods, national heroes, and monuments on the pedestals created using polyurethane foam. The invention also gives method for producing such terrarium with in situ sculptured micro- landscape using polyurethane (PU) foam. The resulting terrarium is lightweight, beautiful, natural looking miniaturized nature which advantageously involves great significance over the prior art in terms of high quality aesthetics, feasibility and portability.
