This invention explains a system and a method to simulate external peripherals on architecture simulators using external interface comprising: means for Initializing the external interface module during startup; means for creating the processes which have to be connected to peripheral controllers and a list of connections which is used for communication; means for registering the callbacks for input data handling in the case of input controllers, and obtaining a handle from said external interface for sending data to external peripheral devices in the case of output controllers when peripheral controllers get initialized; means for notifying the peripheral controller corresponding to the connection when input data arrives for a connection by the said external Interface; and means for sending data to the device to which the peripheral controller it is connected using the said interface provided by the External Interface by the said peripheral controller.
