The invention relates to an improved synergistic composition for the control and/or elimination of pest insects, characterised in that it comprises: a) 20% to 80% natural extract of Allium sativum; b) 54% to 9% at least one synthetic insecticide compound selected from group I, II and III and/or mixtures of same; c) 18% to 10% surfactant; and d) 8% to 1% diluent, all adding up to 100%. In these percentages the aforementioned components have improved effectiveness and prolonged effect in terms of pest insect control, guaranteeing control of adults, nymphs, larvae and eggs, particularly in adults by altering behaviour and reproduction, since the extract of garlic (Allium sativum) improves the effectiveness of the synthetic chemical compounds using its basic effects that influence the behavior or physiology of the insect, in particular the hyperexcitation effect on the nervous system. The aqueous extract of garlic (Allium sativum) is obtained by means of maceration and is mixed with the o ther components in the tank or directly in the field in concentrations in accordance with the formulation in order to guarantee the elimination of pest insects that affect crops.
