摘要

The present invention refers to the isolation, characterization of antagonistic properties, enzyme production and molecular identification of the ARC21 strain of actinomycetes obtained from the Machaeranthera gypsophila plant rhizosphere, which grows in semidesertic soils of the Coahuila State in the North of the Mexican Republic. This strain is focused on the biological control of plagues of the phytopathogenic microorganism Xanthomonas translucens pv. ondulosa, which attacks crops of economic importance such as wheat, barley, triticale and rye at a field level. The present invention is unique, since it provides an isolate of actinomycetes with antagonistic characteristics, which may be used for the development of a production process for obtaining biological control products, which are environmentally friendly, also allowing producers to obtain a higher crop yield.
