A Process is disclosed for the production of prototypes of organic solar cells based on a design containing a single-layered photovoltaic device with an active thin film, which comprises an organic polymer matrix containing nylon 11 and the deposition of metal phthalocyanine, characterized by the homogeneous dispersion of electrically conductive filler particles of nanometric dimensions, which are disposed inside the organic polymeric matrix, said matrix being useful as an electrically-activated photovoltaic layer adhered onto a substrate or base formed by a plate or solid base of transparent material that acts as an anode, while a thin metal layer disposed above the active layer acts as a cathode.
