The invention relates to a joining assembly for joining elements of a vehicle, comprising a first joining element (10) and at least one second joining element (20), wherein a holding device (30) is provided, by way of which the joining elements (10, 20) can be connected to each other to form the joining assembly. According to the invention, the holding device (30) comprises a receiving structure (31, 32) on which at least one adhesive member (40) is arranged, which can be brought into at least two states. In a first state, the adhesive member (40) allows an adjustment of the second joining element (20) on the first joining element (10). The change from the first state into a second state can be activated by means, wherein in the second state, the adhesive member (40) is cured, whereby fixation of the joining elements (10, 20) to each other can be achieved.
