Described is a system for the geolocalization, telemetry, communication and safety of vehicles, people, objects or animals, which is formed by portable and miniaturized device (70 x 45 mm) and software for handling and controlling the device. The user, from the platform, selects in the device the operation parameters and alert conditions to be reported. The device has up to 3 wireless communication channels GSM/GPRS/2G/3G/4G, TETRA and IRIDIUM for being communicated with a remote server, which contains software for interacting with the device and performing the parametrization and reconfiguration in a remote manner. The invention uses the GSM connection provided that there is a cellular signal, when this is lost, the invention automatically changes to the IRIDIUM system of satellite telephony. The device is able to make and receive calls, it may be remotely programmed for cancelling calls from and to non-authorized numbers. The invention is able to record travels even when no GNSS sig nal is available, instead using movement sensors: gyroscope, barometer and magnetometer/accelerometer. The device uses a SD/NandFlash memory for storing the record of calls and the record of movements performed by the device, which may be replayed at any moment and not only in real time. The device has a button to activate the panic function, which actuates an emergency localization and communication process by means of a predetermined number. The device is water and dirt resistant, which allows the same to be operated under adverse atmospheric situations.
