At least one data set estimating the intersection of the two data sets is determined. The estimated intersection is subtracted from one of the data sets. The differential set so obtained is processed by filtration. A systematic process estimates the difference between the two initial sets of data. The data are the cubes of amplitudes and/or seismic attributes. Real and imaginary cubes are determined in the temporal domain.
