The present invention discloses a method for two-stage calcified roasting of a vanadium-containing material, comprising: carrying out a first-stage roasting for a raw material, and then carrying out a second-stage roasting, wherein, the temperature of the first-stage roasting is lower than that of the second-stage roasting; the temperature of the first-stage roasting is 750-850℃, and the temperature of the second-stage roasting is 840-900℃; the raw material is a mixture comprising a vanadium-containing material and a calcium-containing material. With the method disclosed in the present invention, the reaction in the roasting process can be controlled to proceed smoothly without adding any vanadium-extracted tailing, and an effect of avoiding material agglomeration and material adhesion to the equipment can be obtained, thereby the material filling rate in the equipment can be increased, the processing capacity can be increased, the production efficiency can be improved, the cost can be decreased, and the vanadium conversion rate can be improved effectively.
