The grain drying system shall include a regulator electronically connected to a variable-speed fan and a heat pump or heater to provide air through the dilution system and the grain. The regulator also combines ambient temperature and humidity sensors, the interior temperature of the dilution system and the humidity sensor. The governor adjusts the fan speed to the heat pump or heater to provide the target values of sustainable humidity temperatures during the first period,where the ambient air is characterised by moisture content other than sustainable moisture. The governor shall ensure the operation of the fan at minimum speed during the second period when the ambient air is moisture content other than sustainable, and the regulator is unable to achieve the target value of the sustainable moisture content of the dilution system due to the working limitations of the fan and/or heat pump.
