The invention relates to a material based on silver nanoparticles and anthocyanins meant to be employed in skin inflammatory diseases and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the material, as a colloidal solution, has a composition comprising silver nanoparticles complexed with anthocyanin-ligands extracted from guelder-rose fruit, elderberries, cornelian cherry or dogwood, having the average particle size of 9...24 nm in a ratio of 68...70%. According to the invention, the process consists in mixing an anthocyanin solution at the boiling temperature with and aqueous silver nitrate solution while stirring continuously, the colloidal solution being subjected to centrifugation and washing, to result in a solid body which is re-dispersed with bidistilled water up to the concentration desired for use.
