The invention relates to a process for determining the radioactive concentration of highly-active tritiated water by determining the accumulation of radio-induced hydroxyl radicals in the tritiated water, frozen at the liquid nitrogen temperature, by using electron spin resonance spectrometers - ESR. According to the invention, the process consists in filling some glass vials with standard solutions for calibrating the ESR spectrometer and with samples to be analyzed, followed by immersing and keeping the vials in liquid nitrogen vessels for 1-24 h depending on the estimated activity of the source, then carrying out the quantitative determination of hydroxyl radicals by means of ESR spectroscopy, followed by the recovery of standard solutions and analyzed samples after performing the measurements and the determination of radioactive concentration by the intercomparison of the obtained data with the calibration curves.
