The invention relates to a composition for wet finishing of tanned leather. According to the invention, the composition comprises 12% castor oil, 2% triolein, 2% emulsifier, 12% demineralized water, 10% sulphited fish oil, 30% natural or synthetic sulphated oxidized fats, 8% acid dyestuff, 7% acrylic resin in aqueous dispersion, 14% proteinaceous preparation, 1% sage extract, 1% basil extract, 0.5% penetration agent, 0.2% anti-foaming agent, 0.2% auxiliary dyeing agent and 1% anti-deposition agent.
