The shaft fastening device (1) has clamping bolts (3) and eccentric cam (4). The eccentric cam is rotatably arranged on a base plate (7). The eccentric cam is engaged with clamping bolt so that the shaft is fastened on closure housing (2) of handheld gun by axial tensile force. The eccentric cam has a central through-bore for the insertion of a clamping head (13) of the clamping bolt. A locking element (23) is arranged for preventing the undesired rotation of eccentric cam. An independent claim is included for a handheld gun.
