Elastomeric composition with improved thermo-oxidative stability and with additives obtained from renewable sources

A rubber composition is described which contains, in addition to conventional additives, active ingredients which positively affect its thermo-oxidative stability. The active ingredients are calcium lignosulfonate or kraft lignin isolated from annual plants, or kraft lignin isolated from deciduous trees, which are obtained by wood delignification. Their addition in the mixture will prolong the lifespan of the vulcanizates compared to the non-antioxidant-free elastomer blend. a composition comprising a synthetic antioxidant made from petroleum raw materials.
