the present invention relates to an insecticidal formulation based on the essential oil of bitter orange fruit and purified clay against two lepidopteran pests in agriculture (tuta absoluta and spodoptera littoralis). purification of natural clay and the preparation of the formulation has been developed.the results show that the design has a potential insecticide inducing high mortality of larvae of two target insects.the specific form, the invention comprises the following steps: (a) the extraction of the essential oils of seville, (b) the study of the chemical composition of the essential oils, and (c) the purification of clay, and (d) the preparation of the formulation.(e) an assessment of the potential of bio insecticide formulation against two lepidopteran pests: tut's absoluta and spodoptora littoralis.
