METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF RAT CAUDAL SPINE DEGENERATION

Disclosed is a method for simulation of rat caudal spine degeneration by amputation of distal tail part and stump anchoring to bands and muscles of lumbosacral spine under general anesthesia. The stump is anchored to bands and muscles by four-five interrupted U-sutures with nonabsorbable thread Polyamide 3/0 for reliable fixation of the stump during wound healing.
