METHOD for evaluation of effectiveness of treatment with ephedrine patients with pulmonary hypertension at background of PNEUMOCONIOSIS

A method of evaluating the effectiveness of ephedrine treatment of patients with pulmonary hypertension at the background of pneumoconiosis includes comparison of patient state before and after treatment. Before treatment with ephedrine, from patient in quiet state 5 ml of blood is taken from cubital vein with investigation of blood fluid properties by measuring the viscosity of blood at rotary viscometer at various bias tensions from 0,020 dyne / cm2 to 8.8 dynes / cm2. Next, after the ephedrine treatment 5 ml of blood is taken from the cubital vein and a similar study is carried out. If the blood viscosity at 0.3 dyne / cm2 bias tension decreases by 7.0% or more in comparison with the tension before treatment, the hemorheological result and clinical effect are evaluated as positive.
