The method for diagnosing tissue changes after deep burns comprises tomography and assessment of the features of cell death analyzing X-ray density and delineating the area of the coagulation necrosis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRT) is used. The signs of tissue death are detected by the assessment of the functional images in the following sequence: analysis of diffusion-weighted images (DWI-MRT), perfusion images (PI-MRT) and delayed accumulation of paramagnetic contrasting agents. The areas of paranecrosis are detected delineating the area of reversible and irreversible vascular disorders by comparing the intensity of magnetic resonance signals in T1 and T2-weighted images.
