The present invention relates to a retrievable re-connecting device (1) with internal seal element (18) and slips (17) for connecting and sealing against an existing tubing (5) located in a well bore, casing (2) or pipe, the tubing (5) having smaller diameter than the casing/pipe (2), and especially intended for repairing of a damaged tubing (5) in a well bore. According to the invention the retrievable re-connecting device (1) comprises an outer body (3) and at least one sealing element (18) arranged therein and is achieved by that the outer body (3) is arranged to enable the entrance of, and surround, the end part of the remaining tubing (5) located in the well bore, casing or pipe (2), and a sealing assembly (8) is arranged in the re-connecting device (1) to seal the outer body (3) against the remaining tubing (5). The invention also relates to a method for activating a retrievable re-connecting device (1) to seal against the tubing (5) and the invention further relates to the use of such a retrievable re-connecting device (1).(Fig 1)
