The invention relates to highly branched macromolecules synthesized from a core of silicon or polyphenolic, carbosilane structure and functionalized on its periphery with SH groups. Furthermore, the invention relates to a process for obtaining and their use as antioxidants and radical scavengers for use in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry.
