A pharmaceutical combination composition for use in the treatment or prevention of hypertension comprising: (i) the AT1 antagonist valsartan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; (Ii) amlodipine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the composition is in a combination unit dosage form combined in fixed combination.
