Process for the manufacture of a rotor blade component of a wind energy installation with a prefabricated main spar (32), which has the following steps: - preparing a mold (10) with one end (14) on the root side of blade and an end (18) on the side of the blade tip, - place in the mold (10) at least one outer root reinforcement layer (28), made of a fiber material, - arrange the main spar (32 ) prefabricated on the at least one outer layer of root reinforcement (28), the main beam (32) not being able to impregnate with a liquid plastic material, - arrange in the mold (10) at least one inner layer of root reinforcement (38), made of a fiber material, on the main beam (32), - close the mold (10), - suck the air from the mold (10) through at least one suction channel arranged at a lateral distance of the main beam (32), - feeding a liquid plastic material through a first channel of a feeding (12) having a plurality of outlet holes below the main spar (32), and - feeding a liquid plastic material through a second feed channel (46) having a plurality of outlet holes above of the main beam (32).
