Excessive ex vivo or in vitro method for evaluating the malignancy of a tumor of the colon comprising (a) determining a level of tissues of a polypeptide that is at least 95% homologous to the polypeptide set forth in SEQ ID NUMBER : 2, or (b) determining the levels of mRNA encoding a polypeptide are at least 95% homologous to the polypeptide set forth in SEQ ID NUMBER: 2 in a tumor tissue of the colon, evaluating therefore the colon tumor malignancy.
