ACCELERATED AGING PROCESS FOR ACOUSTIC STRINGED INSTRUMENTS

A method of artificially aging a musical instrument is provided by placing theinstrument in an enclosure, providing at least one electromechanicaltransducer proximate to the instrument and providing an electrical signal tothe transducer. The transducer is a three-way speaker in a preferredembodiment. The method has particular utility wherein the instrument is awooden, stringed instrument.
