A double speed single phase alternating current motor includes a stator, arotor, and an electronic starting circuit. The coil winding of the statorincludes astarting winding (L0), a first main winding (L1), and a second main winding(L2).The electronic starting circuit includes a rectifying and voltage regulatingcircuit, adetecting circuit, a voltage comparator circuit, a first electronic switchingcircuit(10) connected in series with the first main winding (L1), a second electronicswitching circuit (20) connected in series with the second main winding (L2),anda third electronic switching circuit (30) connected in series with thestartingwinding (L0) and a starting capacitor (C0). The first electronic switchingcircuit (10)and the third electronic switching circuit (30) are interlocked with thesecondelectronic switching circuit (20). When the first electronic switching circuit(10) andthe third electronic switching circuit (30) are switched on, the secondelectronicswitching circuit (20) is switched off, so that the first main winding (L1)and thestarting winding (L0) are connected with a power supply to operate and thesecond main winding (L2) stops operating, and vice versa. The double speedsingle phase alternating current motor can enable pole-changing andspeed-regulating control from 4 poles to 6 poles, is accurate in control, isconvenient in operation, and is stable during working.
