The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a hot stamped bodyhaving a vertical wall, the method including: a hot-rolling step; a coilingstep; acold-rolling step; a continuous annealing step; and a hot stamping step, inwhich thecontinuous annealing step includes a heating step of heating the cold-rolledsteel sheet toa temperature range of equal to or higher than Ac1°C and lower thanAc3°C; a coolingstep of cooling the heated cold-rolled steel sheet from the highest heatingtemperature to660°C at a cooling rate of equal to or less than 10 °C/s; and aholding step of holding thecooled cold-rolled steel sheet in a temperature range of 550°C to660°C for one minute tominutes.
