The Tree Hugger is a protective sleeve that surrounds the base and trunk of atree. It is designedto protect trees by eliminating, or at minimum deterring; the ease with whichanimals can climband inhabit them.The design consists of a one-piece, polyurethane sheet molded in vertical,accordion-like folds.The molded sheet utilizes Velcro.TM. strips adhered to its vertical edges atboth ends on opposingsides. The corresponding male and female Velcro.TM. strips enable the moldedsheet to be joinedwhen wrapped in a cylindrical shape. The said molded sheet, when wrapped inits cylindricalconfiguration, has the ability to adjust and conform to any size tree trunkdiameter.
