Certain embodiments according to the invention provide seamless insulationarticlessuitable for a wide variety of uses (e.g., garments, footwear, home textilearticles, etc.). Inaccordance with certain embodiments, the seamless insulation article includesa knit basecomprising a first yarn and a second yarn incorporated into a continuous webdefined by the firstyarn and the second yarn in a predetermined pattern to form a plurality ofthree-dimensionalsurfaces. The plurality of three-dimensional surfaces define at least twodiscrete regions havingdifferent contrasting insulative capacities arranged in the predeterminedpattern, in which the atleast two discrete regions comprise a first discrete region and a seconddiscrete region. The firstdiscrete region comprises a first insulative capacity, the second discreteregion comprises asecond insulative capacity, and the second insulative capacity is greater thanthe first insulativecapacity.
