APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING MITM ATTACK

Suggested are an apparatus and a method for preventing an MITM attack. The suggested apparatus is an MITM attack preventing apparatus included in a screen connected via a client to a server, the apparatus comprising: a key storage unit for storing a key shared with the server; a decoding unit for decoding data input via the client on the basis of the key and outputting the same on the screen; a screen security displaying unit for turning on a screen security or warning on the screen on the basis of whether or not decoding is normal at the decoding unit; an encryption unit for encrypting input data, for which security from a user is required, on the basis of the key and outputting the same; and a control unit for turning on a screen security to allow each result of decoding and encrypting to be outputted when the decoding is normal at the decoding unit, and for controlling the screen security displaying unit to display what corresponds to the abnormality when the decoding is abnormal at the decoding unit.
