The present invention relates to an insoluble anode and a method for preparing the same and, more particularly, to an insoluble anode with a porous film layer comprising a nanosphere of electrode active material, and a method for preparing the same, the anode comprising an anode substrate consisting of metal that is capable of anodizing; a porous film layer comprising a sintered powder of the metal and the nanosphere of electrode active material; and a coating layer of electrode active material produced on the surface of the inner and outer parts of the porous film layer. Due to the formation of a porous film layer comprising a nanosphere of electrode active material, the insoluble anode according to the present invention can exhibit a significantly low resistivity compared to existing insoluble anodes, and the nanosphere of electrode active material can be provided as an electron pathway or an effective reaction site of reactants, whereby the reactants easily pass through the inside of a film layer, and thus the present invention can contribute to improved efficiency of an insoluble anode as well as improved lifespan of the same.
