Disclosed is a method for multimedia sharing between a cloud terminal and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: a cloud terminal authenticates a mobile terminal initiating a connection to the cloud terminal, and sends to the mobile terminal a content sharing permissions result and a remote operation permissions result after authentication; the cloud terminal collects shared content and encodes and compresses the collected shared content; and the cloud terminal multicasts the encoded and compressed shared content to a mobile terminal having content sharing permissions, so that the receiving terminal decodes and decompresses the received shared content for use. Also disclosed are a cloud terminal and a system for multimedia sharing between the cloud terminal and a mobile terminal.
