ORAL HYGIENE AGENTS, DENTAL HYGIENE AGENTS, AND CLEANING AGENTS FOR REDUCING DISCOLORATION OF TEETH

The invention relates to oral hygiene agents, dental hygiene agents, and cleaning agents, containing – based on the weight thereof: a) 0.001 to 5 wt% of copolymer(s), comprising at least one structural unit of the formula (A1) and at least one structural unit of the formula (A2) (A1) (A2), wherein R¹ represents a C₁ to C₁₈) alkyl group, R² represents a C₁ to C₆ alkyl group, M represents a hydrogen atom or an equivalent of a monovalent-or multivalent cation; b) 0.01 to 5 wt% of at least one compound of the formula (PP-I) (PP-I), wherein R¹ represents hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R² and R³, respectively independently of each other, represent a linear or branched alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or R² and R³ form a cyclic group with 4 to 8 carbon atoms and possibly a heteroatom, selected from the group comprising N, O and S, and X⁺ represents, independently of one another, H⁺, Li⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, NH₄⁺, 1/2 Mg²⁺, 1/2 Ca²⁺, 1/2 Mn²⁺, 1/2 Zn²⁺, 1/3 Al³⁺, 1/4 Zr⁴⁺, lead synergistically to an improvement in the cleaning power of stains on teeth and the improved prevention of tartar re-formation without leading to increased abrasion of tooth substance.
