Disclosed are an optical interconnection device, an optical interconnection system and a communication method for an optical interconnection device. The optical interconnection device comprises: N passive optical interconnection layers and N active optical interconnection layers, where N is a positive integer and N is not less than 2; the N passive optical interconnection layers stack with the N active optical interconnection layers in a cross way; each active optical interconnection layer of the N active optical interconnection layers comprises an electrical-to-optical conversion component and an optical-to-electrical conversion component; the active optical interconnection layers between the N passive optical interconnection layers comprise active optical switches; each passive optical interconnection layer of the N passive optical interconnection layers comprises a wavelength router. The optical interconnection device, the optical interconnection system and the communication method for an optical interconnection device in the present invention may reduce the loss.
