The present invention provides a laminate body that includes a polarizer and an optical alignment film, the polarizer having excellent wet heat durability. The present invention also provides a production method for the laminate body and provides a polarizing plate, a liquid crystal display device, and an organic EL display device that include the laminate body. A laminate body according to the present invention has a polarizer and an optical alignment film that is arranged upon the polarizer so as to be contiguous therewith. The optical alignment film is a layer that is formed by bringing an optical alignment film formation composition into direct contact with the surface of the polarizer. The optical alignment film formation composition contains a compound (A) that has an optical alignment group and a compound (B) that has a cross-linking group, or contains a compound (C) that has an optical alignment group and a cross-linking group.
