MOBILE COMPUTER WITH HARDWARE-BASED PROTECTION OF A TRUSTED OPERATING SYSTEM AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED ALTERATIONS

This device relates to computer technology. A mobile computer with hardware-based protection of a trusted operating system against unauthorized alterations comprises a user accessible mechanical switch for determining the operating mode of the computer, i.e. trusted OS mode or non-trusted OS mode, and a non-user accessible mechanical switch of a normally open type. The mobile computer also comprises two groups of reprogrammable read-only memories that are mounted in parallel on a common bus of the computer, the first of which groups is for storing a trusted OS and the second of which is for storing a non-trusted OS. The technical result, namely an increase in the level of information security of a computer, is achieved in that a CE output of the second of two devices of the second group of RROMs is connected to a corresponding position of the switch by a circuit of an electronic switch that generates a control signal on the basis of incoming data.
