摘要

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a means for use in preventing fading of a fluorescent substance employed in SPFS to mark a substance to be measured which is trapped in a sensor unit, and preferably for also preventing degradation of a trapping substance which has been immobilized in the sensor unit. This measurement method is based on surface plasmon field-enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy using a sensor chip that has a dielectric member, a metal thin film formed over a principal surface of the dielectric member, and an area formed over a portion of the metal thin film, a trapping substance for specifically trapping a substance to be measured being immobilized in this area, wherein the method includes a step for irradiating, with excitation light in the presence of an anti-fading agent, the region surrounding a fluorescent marker bound to the substance to be measured that has been trapped by the trapping substance, and measuring the fluorescence.
