The present invention relates to a preparation of high-purity ZOC and, specifically, to a preparation of high-purity ZOC from zircon sand and a preparation method of zeolite through by-product recovery, wherein high-purity ZOC is prepared by separating and removing materials containing Si by using a weak acid dissolving agent on a material of zircon sand and carrying out solid-liquid separation. The present invention comprises: a material injection step of injecting a raw material into a reaction tank; a raw material roasting step of injecting a decomposition agent into the reaction tank in which the raw material is injected, and carrying out heating; a raw material dissolution step of injecting water in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:5 by volume with respect to the sample after the raw material roasting step; a raw material solid-liquid separation step of separating a separation material by solid-liquid separation; a weak acid dissolution step of injecting a weak acid dissolving agent into the sample after the raw material solid-liquid separation step; a solid-liquid separation step of removing insolubilized Si by solid-liquid separation from the sample in which the morphology of Zr is changed according to the injection of a weak acid dissolving agent in the weak acid dissolution step; and a zirconyl acid preparation step of preparing zirconyl acid (ZrOCl2), which is a Zr compound (ZOC), by injecting HCl into the sample in which insolubilized Si is removed in the solid-liquid separation step.
