POLYPODIUM LEUCOTOMOS EXTRACT PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

Provided herein are methods and products for use in reducing photoaging of the skin. The products can include a purified extract from a fern of the genus Polypodium in a form suitable for formulation into creams and lotions. Such products can be supplemented with one or more of the following components: biologically active botanical extracts, vitamins and growth factors. The products also can include physical and/or chemical sunscreen agents and/or cosmetic agents. The products often have photoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cell stimulation properties.
