A continuous casting machine sector section for deep pressing of a continuous casting blank solidification tail end. The continuous casting machine sector section comprises an upper frame (2), a lower frame (7), an upper driving roller (3), a lower driving roller (5), a left driven roller set (8), a right driven roller set (9), a pressing apparatus (1), and a clamping cylinder (1) that are all disposed on the sector section. The clamping cylinder is used for clamping the upper frame and the lower frame to be kept in a certain set distance. The upper driving roller is connected to the pressing apparatus. The upper driving roller is connected to the upper frame by means of a bearing base (4). The lower driving roller is connected to the lower frame by means of a bearing base (6). The left driven roller set and the right driven roller set are located on two sides of the driving rollers respectively. The left driven roller set is used for clamping a casting blank before pressing. The right driven roller set is used for clamping the casting blank after pressing. The ratio of the diameter of each driving roller to the diameter of each driven roller is 1.1:1 to 2:1. Also disclosed is a deep pressing method for the continuous casting blank solidification tail end. The continuous casting machine sector section and the deep pressing method for the continuous casting blank solidification tail end improve the deformation permeability of the continuous casting blank and help to alleviate the loosening and segregation in a central area.
