The holding device (10) has two holding parts (12) with in each case a holding portion (25) extending in a longitudinal direction (L). At least one of the two holding parts (12) additionally has an arresting portion (43). Two fastening parts (46) and, for each arresting portion (43), one arresting part (47) are mounted on a rear wall (11b) of the housing (11). To mount the housing (11) on the holding device (10), the two fastening parts (46) are first brought into engagement with the respectively assigned holding portion (25). By displacing the housing (11) in the longitudinal direction (L), the at least one arresting part (47) comes into engagement with the arresting portion (43). As a result, continued movement of the housing (11) in the longitudinal direction (L) is at least limited.
