In the present invention, the configurations set forth below are provided in order to suppress crushing of the peak part of a fin groove disposed inside of a heat transfer tube, reduce thermal contact resistance between the fin and the heat transfer tube, improve heat exchanger performance, and enable the work of assembling the heat exchanger to be easily performed. A refrigeration cycle device is configured by connecting a compressor, a heat source-side heat exchanger (7), an expansion device, and a use-side heat exchanger in series using a refrigerant pipe. The heat source-side heat exchanger is a cross fin tube-type heat exchanger that comprises: heat transfer tubes (30) which are made of an aluminum material and on an inner surface of which fin grooves are formed; and fins (20) which are made of an aluminum material and in which through-holes (20a) are formed which allow passage of the heat transfer tubes. The through-holes are formed so as to have a diameter which is greater than the outer diameter of the heat transfer tubes. After the heat transfer tubes are passed through the through-holes, the heat transfer tubes are expanded so that the outer diameter of the heat transfer tubes becomes greater than the diameter of the through holes and so that the expansion rate is less than 1.5%, and the heat transfer tubes are thereby joined to the fins. The joining portion is formed by soldering.
