Disclosed are a frequency deviation residual error estimation method, apparatus and system, which belong to the field of wireless communications. The apparatus comprises: a first generation unit for generating a data portion according to a short training field (STF), wherein the data portion includes M orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols; pilot frequency subcarriers are arranged in N OFDM symbols; a position, in a frequency domain, of the pilot frequency subcarrier of each OFDM symbol of the N OFDM symbols and a position, in the frequency domain, of a subcarrier used in the STF are the same; and 1≤NM; a second generation unit for generating a radio frame, wherein the radio frame includes the STF and the data portion; and a sending unit for sending the radio frame to a receiving apparatus such that the receiving apparatus estimates a frequency deviation residual error of the data portion. The frequency deviation residual error estimation method, apparatus and system can solve the problem that each OFDM symbol of the data portion has a pilot frequency overhead, and realize the effect that at least one OFDM symbol does not have the pilot frequency overhead. The present invention is used for wireless communications.
