The present invention relates to the field of biometric authentication, particularly to an intelligent finger vein recognition system for intelligent recognition, comprising an imaging circuit, an illumination circuit, a recognition module and a wireless transmission module; the imaging circuit comprises a CCD camera, an optical lens and an optical filter; the illumination circuit consists of near-infrared LEDs; the recognition module comprises a recognition unit, an electronic distance-measuring unit and a voice unit; and the wireless transmission module transmits video information and a control signal to a computer so as to realize communication with the computer. The training and characteristic matching methods of the present invention enable a response speed to be in the range of 8s, and accurately exclude the interference of an environment factor on finger vein recognition, thus improving the accuracy and efficiency of the finger vein recognition.
