The present invention relates to a transportable therapy device for the therapeutic treatment of at least one person, in particular of a painful state of at least one limb of the person, with a box-like housing enclosing at least one cooling chamber which is accessible from the outside only via at least one opening, wherein the at least one opening is designed in such a way, and arranged in the housing in such a way, that a limb to be treated can be inserted into the cooling chamber, with at least one cooling device which, in order to cool the cooling chamber, is thermally coupled to the latter and designed in such a way as to generate, in the cooling chamber, a predetermined temperature for the therapeutic treatment of the inserted limb, in particular for the therapeutic treatment of a painful state of the inserted limb.
