[Problem] To provide a vascular endoscopy image pickup unit manufacturing device and a vascular endoscopy image pickup unit manufacturing method by which an image pickup unit can be easily manufactured and with which there is little risk of shifting of the adhesion position of an image fiber and an objective lens. [Solution] Provided is a vascular endoscopy image pickup unit manufacturing device comprising: a feeder 2 that feeds the tip of an image fiber M1 downward from a protrusion opening; a reception base 3 that is disposed below the feeder 2 and that includes a first hole 31, a second hole 32, and a third hole 33 which open upwards; and a drive unit 4 that causes the feeder 2 to move in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction relative to the reception base 3. The vascular endoscopy image pickup unit manufacturing device is characterized by the following: the first hole 31 is filled with an adhesive M2 which is to be adhered to the tip of the image fiber M1; the second hole 32 has placed and held therein an objective lens M3 which is to be attached to the tip of the image fiber M1; the third hole 33 has placed and held therein a light blocking tube M4 which is for enclosing the outer peripheral surface of the image fiber M1 and the objective lens M3.
