METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY OPTIMIZING STAR TRAIL PHOTOGRAPHY RESULT

A method and device for automatically optimizing a star trail photography result, the method comprising: when star trail photographing is complete, determining pixel points located in a non-star trail area in a star trail image; and darkening the pixel points in the non-star trail area. The technical solution can determine, after star trail photographing is complete, a non-star trail area in a photographed star trail image based on preset optimization options, and darken the determined non-star trail area to highlight the star trail as the focus of the entire photographed star trail image, making the photographed star trail image more dreamlike and fantastical. In addition, the entire optimization process does not require user intervention, saving time of a user when post-processing the star trail image; moreover, the optimization process is completed at a photographing location, such that a user can timely discover whether photography results are ideal, and if not, can timely take a reshoot, thus improving user experience.
